Criteria for Exit Signs

Exit signs must must be lit with light-emitting diodes (LEDs) or light-emitting capacitors (LECs), and must consume no 
more than 5 watts, and have at least a 3-year warranty. All exit signs must also be UL 924-certified and meet NFPA 101, NEC 
and OSHA Illumination standards.
