Why Go Green
Avoid compressed air dusters when possible because they are not reusable, use fluorocarbon propellants that can cause climate change, and are relatively expensive. Brushes, air blowers and vacuums are effective alternatives for routine keyboard and electronics cleaning.

Compressed gas keyboard cleaners should not be permitted with the exception of those containing air, HFC-152a (difluoroethane) or HFO-1234ze (E) (1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene), or carbon dioxide.
